Review by hotel critic
Lille has always been a vibrant pitstop for those traversing Europe, and during my recent visit to the Lillenium, I discovered a hotel that hits the sweet spot between value and comfort. Located a stone's throw from a shopping center, it isn’t right in the bustling heart of the city, but the short drive makes it convenient. Upon entering, I appreciated the modern design—clean lines and a fresh vibe. My room was more than adequate, equipped with a flat-screen TV, strong air conditioning, and soundproofing that ensured restful nights despite external activity. The facilities, including a decent shower and complimentary toiletries, met all my needs. Plus, the staff were consistently approachable and willing to assist. What stood out was the 24-hour reception and convenient parking nearby—invaluable for those on a tight schedule. The bar/lounge area offered a nice retreat after a day’s exploration, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast—plentiful and good enough to fuel my adventures. In terms of cost, this hotel strikes a fine balance; it offers ample luxury without breaking the bank. If you find yourself in Lille, it’s a solid option for a short stay.
